Our submission design strategy was for “Field Works”, a speculation on how to combine a stacked industrial ecosystem with urban farming and food-based R&D to help build a healthier local food network. Our proposal has become part of our “Food for Thought” proposition, currently on display in our showroom.
Studio Egret West’s experience in this sector helped define appropriate scales for micro-business units (Caxton Works), SME incubation hubs (Plus X Brighton), and B2/B8 intensification (Faraday Works / Murphys Yard).
Studio Egret West led a diverse, multi-faceted team for the Framework that includes Bell Phillips, HNNA and McCloy + Muchemwa.
