SEW have invited five London based architectural practices to reinterpret traditional Indian crafts as contemporary building techniques. Create Culture has invited six exceptional Indian design studios to take part in the first edition of Indian Design Platform at SEW’s showroom in Clerkenwell.

Through this exhibition of contemporary design from and inspired by India, SEW and CC would like to encourage a fresh dialogue on the influence of India on contemporary design in the West. The design studios from India include Bombay Atelier, Ira Studio, Injiri, Ranjan Bordoloi, Sangaru Studio and Varnam.

London based architectural practices are ACME, Haptic, Project Orange, Studiodtale and Studio Egret West.
