The London Festival of Architecture has launched it ‘Re-Imagine’ themed progamme of events over the coming month of June. Two of our places will be accessible – with architectural tours by members of our studio - allowing you to find out more from behind the scenes.

Balfron Tower, Poplar—this iconic tower, designed by Hungarian born British architect Ernő Goldfinger, has been brought into the twenty-first century by Telford Homes.

Every part of the fabric of the building has been brought up to modern standards—for fire prevention, acoustics, waterproofing and thermal insulation—through careful restoration and sympathetic replacement.

Join Studio Egret West as we guide you through the new landscape and give you access to the heritage and contemporary show flats and the communal rooms in the utility tower—including the cinema, dining room and rooftop terrace!

Brent Cross West Station – As part of a longer tour which will talk you through the wider masterplan by Barnet Council and Related Argent, Studio Egret West will share the design principles behind ‘The Arbour’ – the design of which was co-authored with shedkm.

The highly sustainable eastern entrance, provides a gateway into the new neighbourhood. It includes a lofty timber canopy that covers a multi-level arrival sequence, picking up Brent Cross Town’s focus on wellbeing and access to nature by combining functionality with a planted public space.
