The engagement is part of the development of Studio Egret West and West Northamptonshire Council’s masterplan for the Greyfriars area of Northampton which includes redevelopment of the former Greyfriars bus station site, the Corn Exchange Building, Belgrave House, the Mayorhold Multistorey Car Park, the Victoria Street Car Park, and the areas known as the east and west islands.
Our vision for Greyfriars will open up a site that has sat derelict for nearly a decade.
At the heart of this new neighbourhood, Northampton’s first town park will form the centrepiece of a culture-led framework that breathes life and energy into abandoned buildings and amplifies nature, creativity and multi-generational living in the town centre.
People across West Northamptonshire are being invited to view plans which have been shaped by feedback from the community following the initial engagement which launched in December 2023.
The online engagement launched on Wednesday 8 May and will run through until Sunday 9 June.
