Studio Egret West is looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant to join its practice in Clerkenwell, London.

With an expanding portfolio of UK and international projects, we are looking for a talented Part II Architectural Assistant to join our growing team.

Your Role
You will play an active role in multidisciplinary project teams, contributing to the design and delivery of innovative architecture and urban design projects across a range of scales. You will have the opportunity to take increasing responsibility throughout the design process, working closely with senior architects and consultants while continuing to develop your technical, professional and design expertise.
Your responsibilities will include:
- contributing to concept design, design development and technical delivery
- producing high-quality drawings, models, diagrams, visualisations and presentation materials
- preparing planning, design and technical documentation
- undertaking design research, precedent studies and site analysis
- coordinating information with consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
- participating in design reviews, workshops and client meetings
- assisting with BIM coordination and project delivery using Revit and other digital design tools
- supporting the delivery of projects across all RIBA work stages
Required
demonstrable creativity and strong design ability
experience working on large-scale, mixed-use or urban design projects in practice
proficiency in 3D CAD software
strong graphic communication and presentation skills
proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
experience producing physical and/or digital models
excellent verbal and written communication skills
strong organisational skills and attention to detail
enthusiasm for collaborative, multidisciplinary working
the right to work in the UK
Beneficial
a professional degree or diploma in Architecture, Urban Design or a related discipline
experience using Revit would be advantageous
knowledge of UK planning policy and the RIBA Plan of Work
experience coordinating with consultants and multidisciplinary design teams
an interest in placemaking, regeneration and sustainable design
