The competition focuses on one of Prague’s most significant brownfield sites, with Studio Egret West competing for Plot B01, one of four key plots in the city centre. A total of 25 teams were selected from 278 entries representing 33 countries across Europe, America, and Asia.
Our submission drew upon the city’s rich geological and cultural identity, reinterpreting the traditional Prague orchard as a productive, vertical landscape. Two sculpted office buildings, Florenc East and West, rise as terraced hills, weaving nature into the urban fabric to enhance biodiversity and provide a holistic, verdant work environment.
