Featuring two distinct buildings: the warehouse building, which repurposes the existing concrete frame for its superstructure, and the wharf building, a new-build inspired by the area's rich industrial vernacular. Together, these buildings will deliver 20 new homes with affordable workspace activating the ground floor.
The warehouse building's bold two-story extension is articulated with a distinctive protruding brickwork grid. The existing concrete frame has been treated and painted, contrasting with the darker brick infills. The complimentary bronze metalwork is now installed including the projecting balconies sitting within the existing steelwork frame that juts over the canal. It is also great to see the recently completed entrance lobby well defined through a recessed corbelled brickwork.
Meanwhile The Wharf Building, with its roofline now complete, is harmonising well with the other building with the use of contrasting light grey/white brickwork and the generous corner windows are framing expansive views over the Canal.
Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the final stages of construction!
