Don’t let my picture fool you, I’m not always as smiley. Nor is the weather that great all the time, it is the UK after all.”

Don’t let my picture fool you, I’m not always as smiley. Nor is the weather that great all the time, it is the UK after all.

In fact, most mornings I look terribly annoyed or drained as I tow myself towards the studio craving some coffee - commutes on the Northern line tend to have such effects. My mood lightens slightly as I approach the studio, for subconsciously I know that as I stepped into the studio that my smile would start to creep out. The massive yellow curtains that wrap around our studio do a brilliant job of filtering out negativity and the British weather. Inside here, it is always sunny, be it the people’s attitude or the bright yellow glow. 10 times out of 9.

Before I reach the kitchen, I would often have to indulge in some of Duncan’s childish banter. Now mind you he is a grown man and a father of two, but that doesn’t seem to impede his quirkiness. Martin sees my coffee deficiency and kindly leaves me be. I look towards my destination, the kitchen is crowded and lively, as always. People are sometimes annoyingly cheery and pleasant, but that’s just my jealousy speaking. I squeeze through to make coffee, but long before I reach the coffee machine my gloom had been swept away. By Josh’s unconventional anecdotes, Steph’s cheeky smile, Jolene’s childish jokes and Han’s uncanny impersonations. I could go on.

Apologies for the lack of information on myself, but in exchange I hope you’ve got a taste of what we are about, and also how I got that smile in the picture.
