Eden Malik
Graphic Designer
I specialise in typographic-based print and digital design, applying Universal Design principles to every brief whenever possible. It is vital for designers to utilise our expertise to share moments with a wide and diverse audience, driven by making unique and purposeful choices.
During my final year as an undergraduate, I won the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) Student Assessment Scheme and was awarded Member of the society (MISTD). Remaining heavily involved in ISTD, I was invited to return to my university as a mentor for final-year students. Upon graduating, I was further awarded the University of Greenwich Merit Award for Outstanding Achievement in BA Graphic and Digital Design, alongside the School of Design Prize Award for Outstanding Achievement in BA Graphic and Digital Design.
After graduating, I was offered a temporary Artist Residency at the London Centre for Book Arts (LCBA). Here, I joined a vibrant community of innovative graphic designers and professional bookmakers. Throughout my residency, I explored traditional and analogue methods of print and bookbinding.
Outside of the workplace I am a technology enthusiast, often playing online games, fixing gadgets, modifying music devices, and experimenting with various film cameras.
