Alix has a wealth of professional experience on a wide range of regeneration projects and sustainable developments in the UK and abroad. She has a passion for collaborative place-making as well as integrated design approaches.

Alix is leading the Studio’s work for Digbeth, which aims to stitch the area into the surrounding neighbourhood, both physically and through social and economic relationships; strengthen and reveal the hidden assets and activities at core clusters; create compact densification and the intensification and diversification of uses, for example through an increase in workspace and light industrial provision and the introduction of high-quality urban living.

She is also the Urban Design Project lead for Tottenham’s High Road West estate regeneration for 2,500 homes, new shops, workspaces, a new library and Community Hub, all focused around healthy streets, a public square and a park. Furthermore,

Alix led Erith Quarry, a sustainable housing development on a 20Ha disused quarry site within the Thames Gateway. The consented hybrid planning application, with Design Code, includes up to 600 new homes and a Primary School, embedded within extensive ecological landscapes and public realm.
